Sales Opportunities Walkthrough
Sales Opportunities Overview
Select the Sales Opportunities tab on the left to see any opportunities and add new ones. From this page, you can see the Company Name, Primary Contact, Sales Rep, Opportunity Title, Estimated Value, Actual Value, Created Date, Estimated Close Date, and the current Stage. Select the Email, PDF, or Print options on the right to share this information in the desired format.
There are two actions you can take from this page:
- View details of an opportunity by selecting the Eye icon on the right
- Delete an estimate by selecting the Trash icon on the right
View Opportunity
Select the Eye icon on the overview page to view opportunity details. From the Sale Opportunity details page you can see all information entered into this opportunity. There are three tabs at the top of an opportunity to choose from; Basic, Contacts, and Estimates.
Basic Tab
The basic tab includes Client Details, Borderline Details, and Opportunity Notes. Edit any of this information by selecting the pencil in the top right. You can also toggle this as Dead or Open in the top right.
Client Details
Client details includes the client and company information, the applicable sales rep, and dates for creation as well as close dates. Select the arrows next to contacts to navigate to their information.
Borderline Details
Borderline details will include the priority level, probability of getting the job, days open, the stage, and the estimated and actual value.
Opportunity Details
Any notes about this opportunity will be displayed here.
Contacts Tab
In the contacts tab, you will see all associated contacts with this Sales Opportunity. Check the box for the Contact that should be the primary point of communication. Select the eye icon to view the contact details. Select the trash icon to delete the contact from this Sales Opportunity (this option will not be available for the primary point of contact)
You may also select Add Contact in the top right to add more associated contacts.
Estimates Tab
In the Estimates tab, you'll find all associated Estimates with this Sales Opportunity. Select the eye icon to view this estimate. Select Create Estimate in the top right to create a new Estimate for this Opportunity.
Edit and Create Sales Opportunities
Add or Edit Sales Opportunities
Add a new opportunity by selecting Add Opportunity on the overview page or select the Pencil icon on the detailed Sales Opportunity page to edit a Sales Opportunity.
Client Details
In the client details section, select a Company, Primary Contact, Company Category, Opportunity Title, Sales Rep, Start Date, and the Estimated Close Date for this opportunity.
Borderline Details
You can add or edit the Priory Level, Probability of the job, Stage of the job, and Estimated Value. Actual value will be calculated as job progresses.
Opportunity Notes
Notes for this opportunity may be added in this section as desired. On the bottom you may select Update Opportunity or Create Opportunity at the bottom of the screen to save this information or Cancel to not save this information.
