Work Orders

Work Order Overview

Select the Work Orders section on the left menu to see an overview of current work orders. This will list the Work Order #, Company, Work order Title, Value, Start and End Dates, and Stage. Select the Eye Icon to open the details of the Work Order and the Trash Icon to delete the Work Order.

Search the work orders using the bar on the left and create a new one by selecting Create Work Order on the right.

View Work Orders

To view a Work Order, select the Eye icon to the right of the work order on the Overview page.

Work Order Details

The top of the work order lists the date this was submitted, the company associated with the work order, the company contact, the start date, tax percentage, work order number, work address, end date, status, markup percentage, and site contact, and a toggle to mark this as open or completed.

Select the blue arrow to see contact details and the pencil in the top right to edit this Work Order.

The section below will list the work order title and description.

Material and Work Order Totals

Type - Material

This section lists the items in the work order, part number, description, quantity, material unit price, material sub-total cost, markup amount, material total, and a toggle to determine if item this is taxable or not.

On the bottom, you will see the material cost (including markups), tax amount, and a total amount for the work order.

The next section will list out the labor cost for the work order, material cost (including markups), tax amount, and a total for the work order.

Email, PDF, and Print Options

On the right, you will see bubbles labeled Email, PDF, and Print. The email option will allow you to email and cc contacts you have currently saved in the program. If selecting the Email option, you can select an email from your contacts and CC contacts from the drop zone list. Select the Plus sign to add more contacts to this email.

Email share option

The PDF button will generate a PDF of this work order. The Print option will print a copy of this work order for your records.

Assigned Employee

The bottom section will list the information for the assigned employee to that work order.

Edit or Create Work Orders

To create a work order, select Create Work Order on the overview page

To edit an existing work order, select the Pencil icon in the top right when viewing Work Order details

Adding or Editing Details

Work Order Details

The dates will auto populate based on the creation date and the end date will populate when the work order is marked as completed. Fill out the associated Company, contact, tax percentage, work address, start date, material mark up.

Title and Description

Enter or edit the title for this work order as well as a description for this work order.

Adding or Editing Materials

Type - Material

To add a new material, select the gray box at the bottom and then a new entry line will populate above it. Edit any previous entries in this mode as well by clicking into the white boxes.

Work Order Totals

Work order totals will automatically populate based on inputs.

Assign Employees

Assign Employees

The bottom section will allows users to assign one or more employees to a work order. Select an employee from the drop down menu, then their role, followed by their billing rate for that work order. Delete an employee by selecting the X under their name. Add a new one by selecting the plus sign on the bottom of the section.

Update Work Order and Cancel changes

Select Create or Update Work Order to save the Work Order and cancel to discard the changes.
